E-Safety

The Child Exploitation and Online Protection Centre (CEOP) have recently released new videos to help parents and carers deal with an increasing problem in children and young adults sending inappropriate pictures of themselves to friends as well as uploading them to the internet.

We have put links to these 4 videos below. You may like to discuss the content with your child.

If you have any concerns about your child's safety on the internet, please come and discuss this with Mrs Dean (E-Safety Co-Ordinator) or Mrs Keddie (Head Teacher)

Safer Internet Day 2015

On Tuesday 10th February 2015 we held 'Safer Internet Day'.

Mrs Dean led Collective Worship and talked to us all about how to make the internet a safer and happier place.

Then we went back to our classes and spent the morning talking and working on how to make the internet safer.

Nursery and Reception talked about what we need to keep safe in life and what we need to keep safe on the internet.

Year 1 and Year 2 thought about what information we share and what we need to keep safe.

Year 3 and 4 made some 'How to Keep Safe on the Internet' posters.

Year 5 and 6 planned and performed 'Internet Safety' presentations.

We had a fantastic day and all learnt about how to be safer on the internet.

We also talked about our new Social Media Agreement which is to keep us, our parents and all the staff at school safe. You can read this at the bottom of the page.
